Five Internship vacancies available We are pleased to announce a great opportunity for five undergraduate/masters students (open to both internal and external students) to undertake a research internship within the STEM faculty. EPSRC’s Vacation Internships scheme gives undergraduate students a taster of what it is like to do research. The Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) is part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI). EPSRC allocate funding for Doctoral Training Partnerships (DTP) using an algorithm based on a variety of criteria including grants awarded to the institution.
The Open University Faculty of Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) currently holds an EPSRC DTP award covering the following subject areas:
As EPSRC research areas span across all 6 schools and 1 institute within the STEM faculty, the grant is administered centrally by the STEM Research, Enterprise and Scholarship Team (stem-research-student-support@open.ac.uk).
