Profile summary

Professional biography

I am a Postgraduate Research student studying the oxygen isotope composition of Martian meteorites following the award of a 4-year UK Space Agency PhD studentship at The Open University, UK.

2023 - 2024: MSc Planetary Science, University College London, UK

2020 - 2023: BSc Natural Sciences (Synthetic Organic Chemistry and Molecular and Cell Biology), University College London, UK

Research interests

I am interested in the chemistry of volatile elements in extraterrestrial geological samples, along with the resultant implications for planetary habitability and the origin of life in the Solar System.

For my current research, I will study the oxygen isotope composition of Martian meteorites using laser fluorination. I have previously worked on lunar carbon chemistry and have studied insoluble organic matter in meteorite samples using micro-Raman spectroscopy.
