The broad theme is Africa-Asia: a just transition to low-carbon development, and the event includes sessions covering decision-making tools, finance, transport, and more.

Satheesh Krishnamurthy | Professor and Chair of Energy Technology is part of a panel discussion, A Capacity Building Ecosystem today at 4:00pm UTC+2. The event will explore how energy systems of countries will lead nowhere unless the analysis is owned by the same countries’ decision makers.  Universities are needed to develop programmes to produce the next generation of national analysts and research in a manner that is self sustaining. In the session we explore steps to developing an enabling environment and national energy planning ecosystem.
