RSC Macrocyclic and Supramolecular Chemistry (MASC) Meeting 2025

The annual RSC Macrocyclic and Supramolecular Chemistry (MASC) Interest Group meeting aims to unite all researchers contributing to the diverse and rapidly growing fields of contemporary macrocyclic and supramolecular chemistry, from synthetic discovery & methodology to the pursuit of frontier applications, as well as the development of enabling tools for MASC founded in computation and machine learning. Over two days each winter, researchers of all career stages gather to enjoy an excellent atmosphere of opportunities to network, present their work and enjoy some great multi-disciplinary science alongside their peers. The Macrocyclic and Supramolecular Chemistry (MASC) Meeting 2025 will be held at The Open University, 15th-16th December 2025.

This flagship event traditionally features an exciting lineup of invited and contributed talks from established leaders and early-to-mid-career rising stars in MASC from across the UK and abroad, as well as over 100 poster presentations highlighting the diversity of research in these ever-expanding and interdisciplinary fields. The annual RSC MASC meeting also holds the honour of hosting several RSC award lectures, including the Bob Hay Lecture Award, RSC MASC Supramolecular Chemistry Award, MASC/WISC EDIA Award, and the John M. Fossey Memorial PhD Thesis Award (formerly known as the RSC MASC Group PhD Thesis Award).

Please visit our webpages (https://mascgroup.co.uk/masc-2025/) for more details on event registration (including the conference dinner), abstract submission, conference programme, funding resources, travel and accommodation advice for your stay in Milton Keynes.

Thanks to the generous support of the RSC and this year’s event sponsors, we can provide a limited number of MASC bursaries to widen participation and enable a diverse attendance. Please visit our Registration & Bursaries page for details on how to apply for this and other funding opportunities to support your participation.
