We recognise that events designed for specific student communities can sometimes raise questions. This initiative forms part of the University’s ongoing work to achieve more equitable outcomes for all students. Responding to evidence that Black students report lower sense of belonging, it provides a supportive space to build connection, alongside wider inclusive opportunities for all students, ensuring underrepresented voices are better supported, valued, and heard fully.
