Mai is a PhD researcher in the School of Engineering and Innovation, Faculty of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics at The Open University, under the supervision of Dr Matthew Cook, Dr Helen Roby, Dr Kevin Collins and Mr Rich Hampshire. Her project is to explore the changing nature of energy flexibility in transitions to a low-carbon future and its implications for the UK electricity sector. The research is funded by The Open Univesrity and CGI.
Mai graduated with a Bachelor in International Relations at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, in 2009 and then with a Master of Science in Management at the University of Glasgow, in 2010.
