The Black STEM Hub presents: How to Improve Your Grades with the Library

Join us in March for an interactive session designed to help you:  

Meet Earlise and Zachary, our new interns and community convenors.  

Build connections within the STEM community and share your ideas for future events.  

Learn how using the library effectively can improve your grades and academic success.  

This session will feature:  

Introduction: Meet the Black STEM Hub interns, Earlise and Zachary, and hear about their experiences using the library (10-15 minutes).  

Interactive Library Event: Led by Alex, this portion will cover:  
  

Practical tips for using library resources, including search terms and refining searches.  

How to use the library efficiently and make it less confusing to navigate.  

Exploring how the library can support your studies and reading for pleasure.  

Directing students to recorded resources for course-specific needs.  

Integrating reading club links into polls and discussing how to add books to the list.  

Discussion: Share your thoughts on what you’d like to see in future events (≤10 m/inutes).  

Q&A and General Discussion: Any remaining time will be used for questions and open discussions.
