Senior Lecturer in Chemistry and Science Saff Tutor in the South West Region.

Research interests

Characterisation of solid surfaces using gas and vapour sorption, and small angle neutron scattering.

Teaching interests

I tutor on the courses S345 Chemical change and environmental applications and the project course SXM390 Frontiers in Chemistry.

I am currently the Chair of the production course S240 Analytical sciences and also on the work-based learning course S230 Furthering your Analytical Science Practice.

Previously I have contributed to S154 Science Starts Here  (which received an OU Teaching Award in 2010),  the residential school SXR205 Exploring the Molecular World, and the level 1 work-based learning course S130 Analytical Science in Practice.
