Previous Projects:

Centre for Electronic Imaging (CEI) Manager.

Project Manager for Distributed Atmospheric Monitoring System (DAMS) for submarine applications.

Co-Investigator for the VESPA instrument proposal for MarcoPolo-R/-2D mission.

Involved in the Titan Mare Explorer (TiME) Discovery-class proposal selected by NASA for Phase A study.

Co-Investigator for AMELIA ExoMars Entry Descent Science team.

Previously Project Manager for ExoMars Advanced Environmental Package (AEP) and Ultraviolet and Visible Spectrometer (UVIS). Both of these instruments were on the now cancelled Humboldt lander. Still interested in Mars landers.

Previously Instrument Project Manager for the Beagle 2 Gas Analysis Package (GAP) and the Rosetta Philae Lander Ptolemy instruments.

Programme Manager for Cassini-Huygens Surface Science Package (SSP), Huygens Atmospheric Structure Instrument (HASI) Accelerometer and Cassini Cosmic Dust Analyser (CDA) Chemical Analyser.

Previously Rosetta GIADA and Philae MUPUS project manager at University of Kent at Canterbury.


Research areas include Titan's surface, lower atmosphere and their interaction.

Current Research Projects: ExoMars NOMAD UVIS, JUICE JANUS camera, ESA NPI study CMOS vs CCD, EUCLID VIS CCD. Mars, Titan and Lunar missions. Spin-out applications.
