Congratulations to Jeremy Gray who has been awarded the first Otto Neugebauer Prize at the 7 ECM in Berlin. In total, twelve prizes were awarded at the 7 ECM, and you can view detailed information about all of the laureates and their prize lectures.  

The Otto Neugebauer Prize is awarded for a highly influential article or book in the field of the history of mathematics that enhances our understanding of either the development of mathematics or a particular mathematical subject in any period and in any geographical region.
